NAJA Media Awards - Deadline Apr. 15

Awards will be announced at the 2010 annual NAJA conference in St. Paul Minnesota. Awards to be given by NAJA are as follows:

- Best Photo - submit a 8 x 10 print
- Best Radio - single news story no longer than five minutes; feature story no longer than 10
minutes on VHS, CD, or USB Memory Stick.
- Best TV - single story no longer than five minutes on CD, DVD, or USB Memory Stick.
- Best Layout - three different and complete issues
- Best Online - 8.5 x 11 copy of home page and URL address
- General Excellence - three different and complete issues for print; Radio, three different stories
broadcast from Jan. 1-Dec. 31, 2009; TV, three news stories broad cast between Jan. 1-Dec.
31, 2009.
- Richard LaCourse Award (Excellence in investigative reporting in print and broadcast) one
story; if broadcast, place on VHS, CD, DVD, or USB Memory Stick.
- College and High School - print, one entry; broadcast, no longer than five minutes; three different issues for General Excellence
